pebbleNav let your pebble smart watch become a full satellite navigation system – no matter if youre walking, driving or cycling!
Enter your destination in the app, put your phone into your pocket and your pebble smart watch knows your way! Your watch will buzz ones if you need to take a right turn and twice if you need to take a left. But what is a satnav without a moving map? pebbleNav brings you custom-made black and white maps with your current location and route to your wrist!
Routing is available in English, German, Spanish, Italian, French,Hungarian, Russian, Swedish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Romanian and Dutch.
If you want to check if routing is available in your area you can use maps.cloudmade.com. We are working on adding more languages and areas.
If you have problems using pebbleNav with your pebble please try to restart your pebble smart watch. Please note that your phone needs an internet connection for getting maps to your pebble.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life!

Crash in stand by mode
Just downloaded and I love it. You dont need to manually switch watch faces when you load the app it just works on your pebble automagically. The only thing I would like to see is am option to invert the watch face colors and an option to use Google Maps for the maps (not sure if its possible). This app is worth EVERY penny.
It has great potential, but I cannot read the directions on the watch while driving. The map that displays on the pebble is really zoomed in and is just covered in roads. I cant tell what is my route or not. Id hold out on buying this until they fix it up. Good potential, but as of right now... not worth the purchase.
The app doesnt work on the pebble. All you see is a frozen fragmented picture. The iOS app is also buggy. There are freezes and slowdowns.
Ive never written a review before but due to the cost of this app(4.99) and the fact that it, at this point it unusable, I felt compelled to write one because $5.00 is not cheap and a developer that expects to charge $5 should know that the app doesnt work. Upon installation it crashed, power cycle phone, crashed, hard reset phone, crashed, uninstall reinstall app searched for and found location and started routing. Alerts you to turns AFTER you have passed them, at one point my Pebble vibrated to alert a turn and then never stopped, had to power cycle watch and phone. This is a HUGE disappointment, not only because Im OUT $5, but also because I assumed by the high price that it would be refined and polished and IT IS NOT!! Mr. developer you should immediately pull this app from the store and NOT put it up again until its fixed PERIOD!!!!
